Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Dead River Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting petroleum products to our company operations and commercial accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to dispatch.
  • Load and transport products to delivery destinations in a timely and safe manner, adhering to federal and state regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize computerized technology to track and manage deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including a clean uniform and a neat personal appearance.
  • Promote excellent customer relations and a high standard of corporate image by maintaining clean vehicles and providing courteous service.
  • Report any accidents, spills, or wrong deliveries to the dispatcher.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous truck driving experience is preferred.
  • Dependability, commitment to exceptional customer service, ability to work independently, and a desire to work as part of a team are essential.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • A Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement is required.
  • CETP training and certification is required to transport propane.
  • All transport drivers must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical.
  • All transport drivers are subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
