Position Overview: Senior Accountant Specializing in Tax and Bookkeeping
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to become a vital part of our esteemed CPA firm. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive tax and bookkeeping services to a diverse clientele, particularly in the real estate and entertainment sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for various business entities.
- Manage individual tax return processes efficiently.
- Oversee bookkeeping duties for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and tax authorities to address inquiries and provide updates.
Qualifications Required:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax return preparation.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and familiar with tax software, preferably Lacerte.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective client interactions.
- Prior experience working in a CPA firm is essential.
- Knowledge of multi-state tax returns is advantageous.
- Familiarity with international tax forms such as 3520, 3528, 3520-A, and 5471 is a plus.
- Experience with clients in the real estate and entertainment industries is desirable.
