Responsibilities- Assist physicians with daily tasks and procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for medical procedures
- Record and maintain accurate medical information, including vital signs and medication lists
- Perform stress testing and EKGs as needed
- Follow up on lab results and communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phones and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Assist with appointment scheduling and preparation
- Review and prepare daily assignments and tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare professionals
- Certified or registered Medical Assistant
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Familiarity with cardiology-related procedures, such as stress tests and Holter monitors
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Computer knowledge and experience with EMR systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
