Job Summary

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, PC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with daily tasks and procedures
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for medical procedures
  • Record and maintain accurate medical information, including vital signs and medication lists
  • Perform stress testing and EKGs as needed
  • Follow up on lab results and communicate with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Answer phones and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and preparation
  • Review and prepare daily assignments and tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Certified or registered Medical Assistant
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Familiarity with cardiology-related procedures, such as stress tests and Holter monitors
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer knowledge and experience with EMR systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
