Position Summary:

We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist for Point of Sale systems within the Punchh division of PAR Technology.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the quality, dependability, and performance of software and hardware components utilized in these systems. You will contribute to the overall test strategy design and planning; develop test cases for certification and verification that encompass implementation for in-store loyalty programs.
  • Overseeing the test laboratory and managing the repository of test data. You will establish, organize, maintain, and supervise the multi-device testing facility. You will uphold the test repository on Jira/Zephyr, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across various testing types—functional and non-functional, end-to-end, etc.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee quality and uniformity of product knowledge across multiple areas.

What We Seek:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Agile environment performing API testing using Postman, as well as functional, UI, performance, and security testing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Point of Sale Systems (POS)
  • Familiarity with QA Testing Automation

Compensation Overview:

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $117,000 USD annually, commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and previous achievements. The position may qualify for additional compensation, including bonuses, commissions, and/or equity, as applicable.
