Role Summary:
The Industrial Mechanic Trainee will assist experienced Industrial Mechanics in diagnosing mechanical issues and executing necessary repairs on industrial machinery. This role involves providing mechanical support, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting various operational machines within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a trainee, you will work closely with a Senior Mechanic to:
1. Diagnose, repair, and install industrial mechanical systems.
2. Disassemble machinery to identify faults and reassemble post-repair.
3. Conduct tests and calibrations to ensure optimal equipment performance.
4. Maintain machinery by cleaning, lubricating, and testing components.
5. Rebuild pumps, cylinders, and other mechanical devices as needed, adhering to standard operating procedures.
6. Strive to minimize equipment breakdowns and enhance overall reliability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is required.
- No relocation assistance or per diem provided.
