Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse II at MUSC, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level. You will work under general supervision and interact with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care at all four locations downtown: University Hospital, Ashley River Tower, the Institute of Psychiatry, and Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital.
  • Work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
