Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Energy Efficiency Technologist to join our team at Guidehouse. The successful candidate will support the evaluation, investigation, and analysis of new and emerging technologies that can improve the overall efficiency of buildings or related equipment.

This role involves providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities, assessing technologies and analyzing technology trends, modeling the performance of advanced technologies, performing technical and data analyses, data collection, spreadsheet creation and management, developing test methods to help characterize the energy use of various appliances, reviewing international test methods and procedures currently used by industry, testing the energy efficiency of various appliances, and preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited degree program in and graduate by Summer)
  • Degree/Majors Required: Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical strongly preferred), Physics, or a related field of study
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the country
