About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Surgical Operative to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. As a key member of our healthcare workforce, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

As a Surgical Technologist, you will work closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure that all surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are available and properly maintained.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout the operating room, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for surgery, taking into account their specific needs and any relevant medical history.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia staff to ensure that patients receive proper anesthesia and pain management.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required; National Surgical Technologist Certification (NSTC) or Certified Operating Room Specialist (CORS) certification is also accepted.
  • Active Massachusetts license is required at the time of submission.
  • BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
  • 1-2 variable shifts per month may be possible.
