At Amazon, we're committed to innovation and customer satisfaction. Our Prime Air team is working on a cutting-edge project to deliver packages to customers in under an hour. We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and assist in the maintenance and routine service of our remote controlled devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and routine service of remote controlled devices
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Work independently in a highly collaborative environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve real-world delivery challenges
Requirements
  • Mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience
  • Basic engineering knowledge: mechanical, electrical, software
  • Experience in installation of sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files
  • Able to perform precision work with hand tools
  • 2 years experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software issues in industry or military
  • Valid Driver's License and able to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the year
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Linux
  • Familiar with Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience creating CAD files based on loose specifications
  • Excellent business communications, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and with ambiguity
  • Experience in aerospace or robotics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $145,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
