Join Our Team as a Part-Time Rad Tech

Maryland Healthcare Clinics is seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Rad Tech to join our team. As a Rad Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinics.

About the Role

We are looking for a Part-Time Rad Tech to work 1-2 days per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your current schedule. As a Rad Tech, you will work with patients who have suffered injuries from auto accidents, workers' comp, and other personal injuries. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, physician assistants, chiropractors, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities
  • Use imaging machines to examine patients' internal structures to assess their overall health
  • Provide proper radiation protection and quality care to patients
  • Select proper technical factors and operate equipment in a safe and effective manner
  • Perform all duties necessary in the positioning and radiating of patients
  • Conduct image processing and quality control
  • Educate patients regarding exposure
  • Follow instructions from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging
  • Talk to the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety
  • Maintain good patient records
Requirements
  • ARRT Certification
  • Licensed in Maryland, DC, or Virginia
