Schenker & Co AG is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of freight within our warehouse.


About the Role:

The Warehouse Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks, workloads, and staffing in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor. This includes delegating warehouse tasks, identifying system or process issues, and communicating those to the Warehouse Supervisor. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining quality standards for warehouse storage and service, including communication to internal and external customers.


Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading freight accurately and efficiently
  • Inventory control, rotation, and inspection
  • Assisting with direction to warehouse employees while performing individual warehouse responsibilities
  • Coordinating trucking transportation in and out of the warehouse
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Completing other duties or tasks as assigned

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have strong communication skills and be able to work well with others.
