Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for delivering resident care through the nursing process of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The successful candidate will guide resident teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides safe and accurate nursing care and other therapeutic measures according to policy and procedures.
  • Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
  • Assumes responsibility for the charge nurse role when designated.
  • Provides direction and leadership in resident care to nursing staff through delegation of assignments and ensuring that quality of care is delivered.
  • Completes assigned tasks and duties for maximum effectiveness and functioning of the unit.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a licensed practical nursing program with a certificate in nursing.
  • Current NYS registration/license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
  • Current BLS-CPR Certification required.
