POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for executing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks across various areas, including guest accommodations, meeting venues, and communal spaces. Your duties will encompass inspecting and flipping mattresses, ensuring bed frames are assembled correctly, vacuuming under and behind furniture, and performing spot cleaning on carpets and upholstery. You will also engage in dusting, touch-up painting, and furniture repairs, confirming that all necessary hardware and appliances are functional and present in the designated areas.

In addition, you will maintain, repair, and clean guest rooms following established preventative maintenance protocols and standards. Minor repairs, such as tightening loose toilet seats, replacing light bulbs, and patching wall holes, will also be part of your responsibilities. General cleaning tasks will include maintaining surfaces in guest rooms, such as tubs, wall tiles, hard floors, walls, windows, and mirrors. It is crucial to report any significant maintenance issues, unusual observations, or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Complete all required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company standards in all interactions with guests.
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Assist with heavier items as needed.
  • Remain active throughout your shift, whether standing, sitting, or walking.
  • Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Less than one year of relevant experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification: None required.
