Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the condition of our apartment homes and community amenities. This includes performing routine repairs, painting, and cleaning tasks to ensure our properties remain in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, painting, and cleaning, to ensure the condition of our apartment homes and community amenities.
  • Respond to service requests from residents and staff, investigating and making repairs as needed.
  • Paint and touch up building exterior surfaces, including apartments, club house, and amenity areas.
  • Process assigned area of grounds, including picking up trash, emptying trash bins, and replacing trash bags.
  • Clean and scrub pool and deck surfaces, and remove debris.
  • Check and repair irrigation systems.
  • Perform assigned range of preventive maintenance routines, including changing filters, checking smoke detectors, and replacing batteries.
  • Assist in moving appliances in and out of apartments and emptying discarded personal belongings and trash left in vacated apartment homes.
  • Conduct and document move-in and move-out inspections, orient new residents in the operation of appliances in apartment homes, and respond to questions.
  • Maintain property grounds and notify supervisor of safety hazards, property damage, or unsightly conditions on grounds.
  • Track and maintain status of service requests in computer system and close records for completed orders.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Requires basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Certified Pool Operator and Environmental Protection Agency certifications may be required in order to service pools and handle HVAC chemicals.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English for safety and productivity reasons.
  • Prefer over one year of experience to be fully familiar with required techniques, equipment, and work routines.
