About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair to sprinkler and suppression systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive service calls from our Service Resource Center and diagnose equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals and documentation to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operational product manuals.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to Sprinkler and Suppression systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Must maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level I or II certification.
  • Backflow certification.
