Travel Nurse RN First Assistant

Talent4Health is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN First Assistant to join our team.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: First Assist
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 12 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) will work under the supervision of the CV Specialty Coordinator/Heart & Vascular Service Line Adm when not serving in the role of RNFA in the sterile field.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 24 hours demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and circulating.
Required Education:
- Graduate of recognized non-online RN program required.
- Completion of approved course in RN First Assisting required.
Preferred Education:
- Once having met the educational and experience requirements, the RNFA is encouraged to attain a Bachelor of Science in nursing to achieve and maintain certification (CRNFA) for this specific role, but is not required.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and circulating is required.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Licensed RN able to practice within the State of MS.
- RNFA course complete.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room-CNOR.
- Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- NIH Stroke Scale.
