Assistant Professor of Political Science

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty team as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Political Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory and advanced courses in Global Politics and Politics of the Global South.
About the PositionThis is a full-time, 9-month position that includes a comprehensive benefit package. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 3-4 courses per year, participate in departmental and school activities, and contribute to the development of our Global Studies cluster.
Responsibilities- Teach introductory and advanced courses in Global Politics and Politics of the Global South
- Develop and maintain a research agenda in Comparative Politics
- Participate in departmental and school activities, including service and committee work
- Contribute to the development of our Global Studies cluster
- Ph.D. in Political Science or International Relations
- Teaching experience and evidence of teaching effectiveness at the college level
- Ability to teach courses in multiple regions, including Latin America, Africa, and Asia
- Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment
- Experience with research methods and data analysis
