Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our IMCU team at South Shore Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process.
  • Manage medication administration, including transcription and recording, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop, discuss, and communicate a prioritized problem list/plan of care for each patient.
  • Assess and reassess patient care needs, identifying and documenting patient/family/significant other teaching needs.
  • Document all patient care following departmental and hospital policies, unit-based standards, and disease processes.
  • Foster a culture of safety through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Previous acute care RN experience preferred.
  • RN - Registered Nurse licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, or other certifications as required by the department.
