Position Overview:
MultiCare Health System is actively seeking a dedicated Certified Respiratory Care Specialist. This role is essential in delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients in need, particularly those with cardiopulmonary challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert respiratory care modalities and interventions to patients with respiratory system deficiencies.
- Utilize advanced practitioner skills to manage complex patient care scenarios.
- Conduct independent assessments and evaluations to establish therapy and treatment objectives.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including patient care staff and management, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Position Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Training program.
- Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the State of Washington.
- Eligibility for the RRT exam from the NBRC.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Current CPR certification at the Health Care Provider level.
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy and critical care preferred.
