Job Summary

A highly skilled Pharmacist PRN Specialist is needed to join our team at Carteret Health Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medication use systems, including acquisition, preparation, distribution, monitoring, administration, and billing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance or supervision of various aspects of the medication use system
  • Acquisition, preparation, distribution, monitoring, administration, and billing of medications
  • Collaboration with Pharmacy Managers to ensure smooth operation of the medication use system

Requirements
  • Professional degree in pharmacy
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Licensed and registered as a Pharmacist by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy
  • Preferably 6 months experience as a pharmacist in an acute care setting or successful completion of an accredited residency in health-system pharmacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills including keyboard data entry and Windows-based software navigation
  • Basic office equipment skills including use of calculator, telephone, printer, & fax machine
