Required Skills/Experience

  • Proficient in Core Java development (preferably with Java versions 17 and 18), with a solid understanding of Classes, Objects, Operators, Data Types (both primitive and non-primitive), execution processes, garbage collection, variables, interfaces, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Strong experience with ExtJS, including knowledge of extcontainer.viewpoint, XTypes, Instantiation, and managing custom and floating components.
  • Proven experience in developing Java-based applications/APIs capable of processing substantial volumes of data.
  • Familiarity with the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot; experience with Hibernate is advantageous.
  • Experience with RESTful Web Services, JSON, and/or XML.
  • Some experience with JavaScript, particularly with ExtJS or other JavaScript libraries and tools.
  • Proficient in using version control systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Experience or willingness to work in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment, handling both new (Greenfield) and existing codebases.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Additional Skills (not mandatory, but beneficial)

  • Experience in Java development on Cloud Platforms (AWS or Azure) and familiarity with containerization tools.
  • Previous experience in a Java-centric role within an enterprise software organization.
