Job Details- Job Title: Operating Room Nurse
- Location: Washington, DC
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to the healthcare team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of DC
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the operating room
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
