Position Title: RN - Intensive Care Unit
Job Overview: This role involves providing exceptional care in a high-stakes environment, ensuring the well-being of critically ill patients.
Contract Duration: 3+ months
Shift Patterns: Flexible Days/Nights, 7 AM - 7 PM
Key Requirements:
- No fixed scheduling; adaptability is essential.
- Must be willing to meet the dynamic needs of the unit.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Patient care ratio of 1 nurse to 2 patients.
- Minimum trauma level requirements do not apply.
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care.
- Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring all relevant information is shared with the healthcare team.
- Engage in problem-solving to address any discrepancies from patient care goals and ensure the execution of solutions.
Essential Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to deliver a broad range of professional nursing services.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- BLS - AHA Certification
- ACLS - AHA Certification
- Valid Michigan RN License
