Your Role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be pivotal in structuring teams and distributing deals effectively, ensuring optimal capacity management. You will possess a comprehensive understanding of all deal requirements, emphasizing unique deal characteristics and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive automation initiatives for existing deals and lead efforts for further automation and standardization across the team.
- Conduct high-level reviews of intricate administrative matters related to Credit Agreements.
- Supervise the updating of the Agency system to accurately reflect the attributes of each credit agreement and associated governing documents.
- Coordinate fund movements concerning initial funding and closings, managing the process for lenders transferring positions by assignment, while collaborating closely with borrowers and lending groups.
Ongoing Management
- Oversee the maintenance of facility commitments and the processing of loan-related activities, ensuring timely collection and disbursement of interest, principal, and fees to lenders.
- Facilitate the collection of new borrowings from lenders and their disbursement to borrowers.
- Act as a senior liaison between borrowers and lenders, ensuring adherence to the terms outlined in the Credit Agreement and other governing documents.
Team Leadership
- Directly manage, train, and mentor support staff on the loan lifecycle, deal documentation, industry standards, and professional communication.
- Excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in investment management operations or bank loan agency/syndication experience.
- Proven analytical skills with a solid understanding of fundamental financial, accounting, and business concepts, along with a proactive interest in learning.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in Bloomberg and other loan research and analysis tools.
