Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse - PPMC Medical Surgical to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. This is a full-time, night shift position with a salary range of $55.95 - $77.13 per hour.
About the Role
The Charge Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a team of nurses, and ensuring the efficient operation of our medical surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Lead and motivate a team of nurses, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication.
- Coordinate care transitions, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Identify areas for improvement, participating in performance enhancement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.
