Job Summary:
The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for delivering therapeutic, supportive, and diagnostic respiratory services to patients in need. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience with clinical protocols and weaning
- Understanding of respiratory equipment functionality
- Strong patient assessment capabilities
Scheduling Requirements:
- Night Shift availability
- Per Diem scheduling flexibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' pulmonary health status
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop care plans
- Administer respiratory treatments to patients
- Assess treatment effectiveness and initiate appropriate therapies
- Engage in monitoring patient care outcomes in line with established performance goals
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
