Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner II

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic, supportive, and diagnostic respiratory services and care to all patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' pulmonary status and develop plans of care in collaboration with physicians and nurses.
  • Deliver respiratory care to patients, including administering medications, performing aerosol treatments, and monitoring patient care outcomes.
  • Participate in monitoring patient care outcomes as established by targets/goals or Performance Improvement within services.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • Previous clinical & weaning protocol experience.
  • Reasonable knowledge of respiratory equipment function.
  • Patient assessment skills.
