About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team at The Star, the home of the Dallas Cowboys. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet all customers with a smile and provide fast, friendly, and personalized service.
  • Beverage Preparation: Follow all company drink recipes and procedures to provide high-quality and consistent beverages to our guests.
  • Product Knowledge: Educate customers on our products and services, including coffee blends, preparation, and product freshness.
  • Point of Sale: Accurately ring sales orders into the POS system and count back change to customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure that our guests can locate resources and products as needed.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide fast, friendly, and personalized service to our guests.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment, with a strong ability to multi-task and keep order.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for an extended period of time without aid, with the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume bar or coffee shop environment.
  • Certifications: Alcohol Awareness and ServSafe-food handling certifications.
