Job Summary

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is seeking a talented Business Analyst to drive analytics and develop solutions for the Carrier Services team. As a key member of this team, you will have the opportunity to be a thought leader in Amazon Logistics and collaborate with a group of talented professionals to design the Amazon network of the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex data analysis to identify opportunities to reduce fulfillment costs and improve efficiencies and customer experience.
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to identify process and system improvement opportunities to drive key business decisions.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Program, and Finance stakeholders, gathering requirements and delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
  • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations.
  • Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for datasets and model data and metadata to support ad-hoc and pre-built reporting.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience.
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market.
