Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior On-Site Service Specialist to join our team at Ricoh Americas Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring the smooth operation of our copier equipment and related services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily inspections of copier equipment to ensure proper functioning and quality.
  • Conduct basic equipment troubleshooting and escalate calls to technicians as needed.
  • Set up equipment according to customer specifications, including toner additions and paper stock replenishment.
  • Perform scanning and imaging tasks as required.
  • Provide reception services on a temporary or occasional basis.
  • Maintain accurate records for management reports and inventory of supplies.
  • Respond to and coordinate all service calls required by customers.
  • Maintain daily meter and service logs.
  • May travel between customer buildings to perform duties.
  • Ensure the upkeep of convenience copier areas by keeping them neat and well-stocked.
  • Perform duties related to shipping and receiving materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of copier and other related equipment and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly to complete projects.
  • Excellent customer relations and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise, toner, and changes in room temperature. May be exposed to paper cuts from handling paper and opening boxes. May be required to walk between buildings and may be exposed to various weather conditions.
