Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results to support student learning and communication goals.
  • Therapy Services: Provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and ensure effective communication.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided, including progress monitoring and goal attainment.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about current research and best practices in speech-language pathology to ensure delivery of high-quality services.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Illinois State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Professional License: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience: Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
