Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Malta, Illinois

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Malta, Illinois. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning and communication goals.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Illinois State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
