We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northwest Medical Center. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests under minimal supervision.
- Ensure accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program.
- Perform instrument function checks and preventative maintenance according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
- Train new employees and students on laboratory policies and procedures.
- Assist as needed in all laboratory areas to maintain appropriate patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred.
