Key Requirements

Legal Background


A good standing of at least one US state bar or Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school is required.


This is a Hybrid onsite/remote position that involves working with Contract Analysts.



Key Responsibilities

Compliance and Due Diligence


Ensure all Third Party contracts comply with corporate, state, federal, and regulatory requirements, focusing on Federal consumer financial laws.


Collect and evaluate upfront and ongoing due diligence on Third Parties.



Contract Lifecycle Management

Manage the contract lifecycle from negotiation to execution and ongoing compliance, including:



  • Negotiation and initial drafting
  • Business, Legal, and stakeholder approval
  • Execution and ongoing compliance

Assist Legal with reviewing Third Party contract templates and perform annual contract reviews, facilitating renewals, amendments, or terminations as needed.


Maintain documentation and approvals on file and ensure agreements contain service levels, quality standards, performance metrics, and financial penalties or incentives as required.



Collaboration and Documentation

Develop and maintain effective relationships with key Business partners and facilitate necessary documentation and reviews to meet corporate requirements.
