Job Title: Behavioral Health Counselor

At Life Changing Solutions, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to clients or families who are assigned to a caseload under clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to clients or families who are assigned to a caseload under clinical supervision of a Clinical Supervisor.
  • Provide CPST services to assigned clients in accordance with the treatment plan.
  • Attend and participate in treatment planning activities and discharge planning.
  • Function as the client's advocate in all treatment decisions affecting the client.
  • Assist in treatment plan updates and progress summaries associated with the client's treatment.
  • Provide appropriate interventions as part of the prescribed treatment.
  • Attend patient treatment team meetings for assigned caseload.
  • Collect data/information and relate findings to necessary agency staff.
  • Complete accurate progress summaries for individuals on caseload.
  • Assist in discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Sociology, or Psychology and must be provisionally licensed under a state board. Must have PLPC, PLMFT, CSW, or LMSW.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule with minimal direct supervision.
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate orally and verbally.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines for data entry.
  • Abide by agency's policies and procedures (confidentiality, incident reporting, FWA, code of ethics, non-discrimination).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if position is offered.
Working Conditions:

The Behavioral Health Counselor will typically work in a community-based environment. Travel to homes will be required. Telehealth is an approved method of service delivery.
