We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Forensic Psychologist to join our team at University Health System-San Antonio. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments of adult and juvenile defendants, as well as providing clinical supervision to practicum students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and assessments of defendants, including interviews and testing
- Provide clinical supervision to practicum students and ensure their development as competent professionals
- Testify in court as an expert witness, providing objective and unbiased opinions
- Collaborate with law enforcement officers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure effective case management
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations and assessments
- Doctorate in Psychology or related field from an accredited institution
- One year of supervised postdoctoral experience in clinical psychology, forensic psychology, or related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychological testing and evaluation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, or eligibility to be licensed within 6 months of employment
