Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant - Certified to provide high-quality patient care services in an ambulatory setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will assist medical practitioners with procedures, conduct follow-up with patients on lab and test results, and perform various administrative duties.

Responsibilities
  • Assist providers with procedures and patient care services
  • Conduct follow-up with patients on lab and test results
  • Room patients, obtain ECGs, and pre-load and confirm office appointments
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry and patient communication
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED and successful completion of a medical assistant program and externship
  • Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (CCMA, CMA, NCMA, RMA)
  • Ability to obtain accurate vital signs and patient histories
  • Competent in use of computer software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct patient care experience in a healthcare facility
  • Ambulatory medical office setting experience
  • Experience with Cerner
Working Environment

This is a busy, often stressful, ambulatory setting providing direct patient care to all age patients.
