Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including service logs, schedules, and inventory of supplies.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner, which may include HVAC failures, plumbing issues, and electrical emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations to create a safe workplace environment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments as necessary to streamline operations and maintenance processes.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skillsets and stay current with evolving technologies and maintenance practices.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special projects or renovations as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Availability to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
