Bartender

The Doubletree Schenectady, NY is seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender to join our hospitality and restaurant team.

This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, crafting and serving delicious drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

This is a part-time, hourly position in Schenectady, New York with a compensation of $10 per hour, plus paid weekly.

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take drink orders and serve guests in a timely manner
• Create new and innovative drink recipes
• Prepare and pour alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
• Ensure proper inventory management and control
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
• Follow all company and safety policies and procedures
• Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any guest complaints
• Adhere to all state and local alcohol serving guidelines

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of different alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Must have a valid liquor license or the ability to obtain one
