Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain poles, cables, and conduits, ensuring that telecommunications infrastructure is functioning properly.
  • Cable Installation and Repair: Install and repair cables, including fiber optic and copper cables, to ensure reliable communication services.
  • Network Infrastructure: Work with engineering teams to design and implement network infrastructure, including the installation of new equipment and the repair of existing infrastructure.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers receive reliable and efficient communication services.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure that telecommunications infrastructure is functioning properly.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 year of outside plant construction experience, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of poles and buried or aerial cable.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10 Hour Safety Course and Buck Squeeze (Pole Climbing Certifications).
  • Skills: Proficient at operating various construction equipment, including digger derricks, bucket trucks, and back hoes.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds, work in all weather conditions, and work at heights.
