Overview

In this position, you will oversee and facilitate projects, offering medical insights on both branded and unbranded materials while engaging in various initiatives. You will act as the medical affairs representative during the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding collaborative and project management abilities, a comprehensive understanding of MLR procedures, and effective communication skills, along with experience in competitive reviews and publication assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • MLR Oversight: Serve as the medical affairs representative in the MLR review process to guarantee the precision and compliance of promotional materials. Evaluate marketing content in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and client requirements.
  • Project Support: Assist in initiatives such as Medical Science Liaison (MSL) activities, medical education programs, digital communications, and preparation of conference materials and reports.
  • Project Leadership: Manage assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and implement project objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: An advanced degree is preferred (PharmD, PhD, PA, or NP). Experience in psychiatry is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ad/promo medical review; prior Medical Review experience is highly desirable (including Veeva promotional materials and medical communications).
  • Experience: At least 3 years in the pharmaceutical sector or a related field, with a solid grasp of medical affairs.
  • Scientific Acumen: Proficiency in interpreting scientific data and understanding the patient treatment pathway.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and strategic thinking.
  • Flexibility: Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to evolving business requirements.
