Production Supervisor Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production associates, forklift operators, and general laborers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production associates, forklift operators, and general laborers.
- Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Provide clear and concise direction to your team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Be versatile and ready to assist in various roles as needed to support team operations.
- Operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
Work Schedule: This is a hybrid role that will alternate between 1st shift and 2nd shift based on operational needs. Employees working the 2nd shift will receive an additional $1 per hour.
Compensation: Base pay is $24 per hour, with an additional $1 for those working the 2nd shift. Overtime opportunities are likely available.
Essential Functions:
- Working in a smoke-free environment.
- Wearing steel toe shoes.
- Working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Manual lifting up to 50lbs.
- Standing for 10 hours at one time.
- Working up to 10 hours of overtime per week.
