Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Project Manager to join our team at Zions Bancorporation. As a Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing marketing and advertising campaigns for assigned business lines from strategy development to deployment and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing and advertising campaigns for assigned business lines from strategy development to deployment and reporting.
  • Write copy for and leverage a broad mix of paid, earned, and owned media to reach defined target audiences.
  • Manage internal and external resources, define and manage to timelines and budgets, and proactively suggest new opportunities for strategic development.
  • Execute marketing plans and marketing projects across all mediums, traditional and digital.
  • Experience in managing high-profile client/executive relationships, comfortable with addressing and presenting in executive meetings.
  • Proactively communicate campaign and project details and milestones to key stakeholders.
  • Control project efforts to meet project objective and budget, develop detailed schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Manage project production and vendor relationships, track key milestones, and adjust plans and/or resources, applying change control procedures.
  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet expectations.
  • Communicate major milestones and identify potential project risks, conduct regular status meetings to review project activities, manage prioritization and resources.
  • Record and maintain digital project files to preserve all necessary forms, approvals, and other documents, adhere to filing procedures and naming protocols.
  • Create detailed project reports, identify and track Key Performance Indicators, analyze metrics, identify trends, summarize, and distribute information.
  • Create campaign summaries and ROI reports.
  • Conduct periodic policy and procedure audits as assigned.
  • Identify and champion educational opportunities, gain buy-in, and drive participation, prepare and conduct team training sessions.
  • Higher-level project manager duties may include identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements, providing recommendations to management, and leading implementation for approved process changes.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with project management, preferably in a marketing or advertising field.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry, advertising copywriting, project management, or other directly related experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in writing copy for multiple media and formats.
  • Working knowledge of project management, marketing/advertising, banking industry, website marketing, and analytics/digital advertising.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply marketing concepts to meet business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and build effective partnerships across organizational and functional boundaries.
  • High level of initiative, energy, and persistence.
  • Proficient with MS Office, MS SharePoint, Workfront (or other project management software), and all social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and process improvement skills.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
