Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Informatics Specialist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. This role is responsible for implementing and optimizing clinical systems within the Women's Services department, ensuring seamless integration with Information Technology Services (ITS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinicians and ITS teams to develop and execute strategies that support improved clinical practice and patient care.
  • Coordinate activities to achieve optimization and workflow standardization through the use of technology and the electronic medical record.
  • Ensure clinical documentation and other viewing tools support evidence-based practice.
  • Promote collaborative work relationships within the department and across the institution.
  • Conduct analysis to ensure continued appropriate and effective use of the electronic medical record and automation.
Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing required; Masters preferred.
  • Current CT state RN licensure and/or eligibility for CT state RN licensure required.
  • Certification in Nursing Informatics or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Three to five years of clinical practice experience with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience with the use of an electronic health record (Epic preferred).
