Course Structure:
Classes are scheduled once or twice weekly for an eight-week duration. Our approach combines in-person engagement with technological integration, including online discussions and assignments, to create a rich learning environment. Commitment is made on a course-by-course basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide students with a sanctioned syllabus that adheres to the established template of the local campus, encompassing the terminal course objectives.
- Organize, prepare, and consistently update all course materials.
- Utilize suitable technological tools for online platforms and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions, to prepare and make the course accessible to students.
- Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills that engage students, clarify concepts, and enhance learning outcomes.
- Establish clear expectations for the course by publishing terminal objectives, assignment/examination dates, and the weight distribution of various evaluation categories.
- Ensure that exam content and difficulty align with the course terminal objectives.
- Demonstrate consistency and fairness in exam preparation and grading, providing timely feedback to students.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Compensation:
Compensation for Visiting Professors is determined by degree, credit hours taught per 8-week session, and location. Pay may vary significantly across states.
