Vantage Hemp Co is seeking a skilled Extraction Specialist to join our team in Greeley, CO. As an Extraction Specialist, you will be responsible for the extraction and purification of CBD and other botanical extract products from plant biomass according to established procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Extraction and Purification: Produce high-quality extracted products according to company procedures and policies.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including extraction equipment, scales, evaporation equipment, distillation equipment, and forklifts.
- Safety and Maintenance: Adhere to all safety requirements throughout the shift and perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately and legibly document all extraction workflow and data to ensure process integrity using cGMP principles.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts of supplies and materials.
- Education: High School diploma or GED required; STEM degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of production/manufacturing experience with extraction processes preferred.
- Skills: Strong production skills, ability to work quickly while maintaining high product integrity, and ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling hazardous materials.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, crouch, lift, push, and pull items and equipment of varying weight and sizes.
- Competitive Compensation: $25 to $35/hour (depending on experience).
