Role Overview

Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cancer Registry Quality Coordinator to oversee the quality and integrity of cancer registry data across our system. As a vital member of our team, you will ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while providing exceptional data management and analysis support.

This role offers an estimated annual salary of $83,500, commensurate with experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Oversee the quality and accuracy of cancer registry data, ensuring timely completion of abstracts and follow-ups.
  • Compliance: Confirm adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements, including those set by the American College of Surgeons.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with regional and system-level oncology service line partners to deliver data requests and ensure seamless communication.
  • Mentorship: Orient new cancer registrars, design orientation plans, and provide continuing education as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cancer registry data management or a related field.
  • Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders.
