Job Title: Outbound Supervisor

At Waldom Electronics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outbound Supervisor to join our team. As an Outbound Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of our domestic and international shipping teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily shipping operations by assigning tasks and ensuring completion in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company policies and customer requirements.
  • Participate in the hiring process, train new employees, and provide ongoing training to existing staff as necessary.
  • Enforce and promote safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards and regulations within the department.
  • Work with other departments to guarantee timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory records.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures aimed at enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and cost reduction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred or at least 3 years of experience in shipping and logistics, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Professional and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures and regulations, including international shipping.
  • Ability to manage a team while fostering a respectful and communicative work culture.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP experience.
Working Conditions:
  • Warehouse environment with moderate noise from power industrial trucks.
