Job Title: Infotainment System Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Infotainment System Tester to join our team at Volkswagen Group of America. As an Infotainment System Tester, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end testing and analysis of connected infotainment systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute testing activities on connected infotainment systems, including telematics and infotainment units.
  • Report and communicate results and critical issues to key project partners.
  • Provide documentation on infotainment communication errors found during static and dynamic evaluation, and follow up directly with responsible engineers for resolution.
  • Support online bring-up of vehicles and benches, and ensure that test benches and vehicles are at the correct version levels.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of related engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to use logic and reason.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and write effectively.
  • German skills, written and verbal, are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with automotive infotainment control modules.
  • Experience testing infotainment technology and the interaction with in-vehicle systems.
  • Understanding of vehicle communication networks and the ability to capture communication traces.
