Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Urgent Care for Kids. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patients upon arrival and communicate with the provider to ensure seamless care
  • Document and summarize patient visits in our electronic medical records system
  • Assist providers with procedures and patient care, including splinting, radiology, and medication administration
  • Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Obtain lab results and communicate with patients regarding their test results
  • Provide patient education and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children and families
  • Experience working in a pediatric office, hospital, or urgent care setting within the past 3 years
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) certification
  • LVN - TX License
  • BLS certification required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and basic clinical procedures
